Kathy Veazey- 10.3.25

Kathy Veazey was writing songs way before you could record an album using your iPhone and she fondly remembers the day she got a four track cassette recorder. Being able to play with vocal harmonies was mind blowing and she continues to use drum tracks and loopers to help her compose her tunes. “It’s hard not to write the same tune over and over and I use lots of hacks to keep from doing that. I still always seem to wind up in D minor though!”

She has been playing music in the local scene for decades and is now with the band Pan-O-Ram Club with her husband and other talented Chattanooga musicians. Kathy’s tunes are featured in their live shows and folks can also check out two albums with her former band Lumbar Five on YouTube. And be sure to catch Pan-O-Ram Club at Puckett’s Chattanooga!
