Tigris draws influence from folk artists like Gillian Welch and Jill Andrews, as well as county artists such as The Chicks, Hank Williams Jr., George Straight, and of course, Dolly Parton. Tig's music is also influenced through participation in Chattanooga’s robust bluegrass scene. The result are songs that are fast-paced, bluesy and bouncy, with a perfect amount of twang.
