Hailing from the backwoods of Helena, Alabama, LeAlan Carter is an experienced singer-songwriter known for his compelling blend of Country, Americana, Soul, and Southern Rock. Drawing from real-life experiences, he crafts heart-piercing melodies, dynamic rhythms, and soul-stirring lyrics that resonate deeply with his listeners. After the successful debut of The LeAlan Carter Band with The Weight in December 2023, LeAlan is branching out with a solo acoustic(ish) EP titled On’ry & Sad.
With over two decades of experience in various bands and churches, LeAlan found his true voice after regaining his hearing, which ignited his passion for writing and performing original music. He draws inspiration not only from iconic musicians like Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, and Sam Cooke but also from his grandfather, L.H. “Lucky” Carter—a hall of fame pedal steel guitar builder and player. His rich musical heritage and personal journey continue to shape his authentic sound.
