His relentless dedication has earned him a string of accolades, including winning the 2016 Belk Southern Musician Showcase, being named 2023 winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, as well as multiple songwriting honors from the International Singer-Songwriters Association (2019-2021). In October 2024, Scott signed with Spectra Music Group, the world’s largest independent label, a testament to the enduring quality of his craft. His debut EP with Spectra, Fair-weather Friend, dropped on January 31, 2025, showcasing his signature raspy edge and soulful grit.
