Jason Sever

Born and raised in Texas, Jason Sever has always had a love of music. Living in Nashville for over 22 years now, that love has only grown. After moving in the fall of 2001, Jason immediately began singing demos for Nashville’s top writers, lending his vocals to several songs that climbed the charts. Jason is a vocalist that can sing like any artist out there, whatever it takes to grab their attention. Meeting the names behind most of his favorite songs, he fell into writing with them.

In 2009 he signed his first publishing deal with Little Champion Music, a company owned by John and Martina McBride. His first cut came that year. From the ten years after, many more followed. His first single as a writer came with the band The Lost Trailers in 2010. Titled, “UNDERDOG”, it reached #34 on the Top 40 as a completely independent release. Since then, Jason’s songs have been recorded by Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride, Gary Allan, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Joe Nichols, Josh Kelley, and the metal band Seether.

He has also had several overseas cuts by European artists, including a single by Yannick Bovy on Warner Brothers Records titled, “Enduring Love”. Jason’s most recent success was with the Billboard and Mediabase #1, SEEIN RED, by Dustin Lynch. He’s currently spending a lot of his writing time working with Veterans and their families to share their stories through music. He continues to write and record and looks forward to the future and the songs yet to come.
