The Resonauts- 12.4.26

THE RESONAUTS is an unpredictably eclectic Nashville-based acoustic group (guitar, violin, mandolin and, for most shows, upright bass) playing a mix of jazz, bluegrass, country and pop featuring a surprise-filled repertoire and, frequently, guest vocalists and instrumentalists.

The group was formed in the winter of 2025 by Troy Gilchrist (guitars), Thomas Townsley (mandolin) and Lee Thomas (fiddle), having recently added jazz man Jimmy Sullivan and his upright bass. Their set list includes a wide range of styles, meaning audiences never know what's coming next.

In addition to unexpected covers, the band also offers original instrumental and vocal songs performed at a high level of technical ability with a delivery ranging from razor's-edge intensity to the more delicate and subtle--whatever the moment calls for.

A relatively new entry onto the Nashville scene, The Resonauts are looking to make a big, colorful splash playing highly relatable and listenable music, aimed at creating a lively, edge-of-the-seat atmosphere and making any event more successful and memorable.
