Dark Waters Project- 12.14.24

The Dark Waters Project was founded in 2010 and is led by duo Cherish and Adam Hamby. Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, they released their 1st 6 song EP in Nov of 2014 titled “The Rains.” It ended up in the hands of countless fans all over the globe. They released their 2nd full length album titled, “The Darkgrass Sessions” April 17th, 2020. It was produced by Lee Groitzsch and recorded at Skaggs Family Records.

They like to describe their music as Darkgrass. With an original mix of Alternative Rock, Folk and Bluegrass their set is filled with flawless, stirring harmonies, heavily influenced by Classic Folk and Americana groups like Crosby, Stills and Nash, Fleetwood Mac and Modern Folk and Alt Country groups like The Civil Wars, Mumford & Sons and Lady Antebellum. Their music has been described as a, “Good sadness” and “An alt-rock band driven by an array of bluegrass instruments.”

When you see the Dark Waters Project perform, you will hear ballads that “slow-boil” to a soul-stirring, thunderous crescendo, haunting lyrics, bringing up the darkness of loves past, and up-beat, rhythmic bluegrass melodies that will make you want to go out and buy a Mandolin of your own.

Kenny Durham Trio- 12.28.24

Unique might be the best way to describe Kenny Durham. With his handlebar mustache, tall boots, and cowboy hat, he looks like a cowboy poet or country singer right out of the Old West. Kenny sings a wide variety of songs from rock and roll, to bluegrass, to oldies. He's always willing to share his compositions and hashed some success as a writer. Back in the '80's Kenny and two co-writers wrote a song, "FIREWORKS" for the group ALABAMA, and it made its way on to two albums, "FORTY HOUR WEEK" and "ALABAMA LIVE".

Kenny was influenced greatly by the immortal JOHN DENVER and overwhelmed by his death, Kenny composed his song, "GOODBYE JOHN", and performs an annual tribute concert in Denver's memory.

Due to Kenny's love of music, he has traveled throughout the United States and Canada to perform. He's shared the stage with country music greats such as George Jones, The Charlie Daniels Band, T Graham Brown, and Barbara Mandrel just to name a few. These days you can find Kenny singing at the local wineries and restaurants as well as private and corporate events.

Kenny has a very distinctive look and it's been a popular choice for commercials and music videos. One music video "IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH HELL" by Rodney Atkins, became a video of the year in 2006. It can still be seen on YouTube. Also, Kenny has played a mythology professor in the movie "BLACKBIRDS AND BLAZERS" starring David Allen Coe.

New Year’s Eve with Jake Leg Stompers- 12.31.24

The Jake Leg Stompers evoke the rebellious spirit and colorful pageantry of American popular music before the Second World War, from the Memphis blues to Gullah ring shouts when jazz began, vaudeville was urgent and folk music was still dangerous. From their home base in Murfreesboro TN, The Jake Leg Stompers have been serving up chicken-fried , pre-war, hokum-billy jug music since 2005. Acclaimed for their spirited, eclectic, and wildly unpredictable performances, the Stompers evoke the ethos and repertoire of early juke joints, speakeasies and 20th-century medicine shows featuring period dress and vintage instruments.

"There is a swagger to the Jake Leg Stompers. they play their version of old timey music and make it relevant to this day and age. It may be old-times but its not elderly."
--Offbeat Magazine

"Jake Leg Stompers resurrect the rent-party vibe of music in feast or famine America between the World Wars, performed with joyous abandon. JLS sing and swing traditional songs on traditional instruments ...washboard, banjo, fiddle, and guzzle tradition like vintage port from a Bama-Jelly jar." ---Nashville Scene

David Isenberg Trio- 11.2.24

Although he was born in Virginia, David’s home town and heritage is Cottontown, Tennessee in Sumner Co. Growing up, the Nashville skyline was a regular commodity to David, as well as country music, but it wasn’t until later in life that he realized that he discovered his talent and passion for music artistry. According to family history, David’s grandmother Carol Johnson was a successful singer who played on the Grand Old Opry and toured with Jim & Jesse. Also, David’s uncle-in-law is renowned songwriter Sanger D. “Whitey” Shafer, who pinned such hits as All My Exes Live in Texas and much more. David was unaware of the significance of his musical bloodline when he decided to become an artist for himself. He felt like it was a call from God that he answered, and finding out about his uncle and grandmother just reinforced what he felt to be his calling in life.

David has now written over 200 songs and is well on his way to becoming a Nashville namesake. Some of his biggest musical influences include Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Billy Currington as well as modern art acts like, Jack White and the White Stripes, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and the Gorillaz.

David started his professional musical journey at the world famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. Since beginning in 2019, David has played 500+ shows for Tootsie’s on Broadway, mingled and performed with stars such as Jimmy Fallon, Joe Walsh, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston!

Currently, David is recording his debut breakout album with Nashville producer Ben Reno, in Franklin, TN. For the album, he will be joined by rock-and-roll hall of fame drummer, Steve Ferrone, who was the main drummer for Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers for over 30 years, and one of the most recorded drummers in history.

David also plays in full bands at The Mellow Mushroom in Nashville, TN and has a weekly Wednesday night slot at Margaritaville.

Off the stage David is a hard working family man with a loving wife and 2 beautiful children.

Music is more than a hobby to David. It is a passion and a way of life. And sharing the love of that experience with the workers and guests of wherever his talents take him, he considers his biggest privilege in life.

GOLDEN SOUL REVUE- 11.1.24

Bridging the gap between blues, soul, and Americana, the Brian Golden Blues Experiment was formed in the spring of 2017 with the recording of ‘binomial,’ the group’s debut EP.

After more than a decade performing with upstate New York’s Badweather Blues Band and Master Thieves – and touring the East Coast with Syracuse’s Golden Novak Band – singer/songwriter/guitarist Brian Golden relocated to Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, where he met gospel singer and wife, Aletha Golden.

The newlyweds wasted no time establishing the 8-piece, Tennessee offshoot of the BGBE, all the while maintaining its northeast chapter. In March of 2020, the band released its sophomore effort, “The High Divided,” featuring a handful of newly penned Golden originals and soulful covers of Don Nix’s “Going Down,” Danny Dill’s and Marijohn Wilkin’s “Long Black Veil,” and Curtis Mayfield’s “People Get Ready.”

From acoustic duo to full-on 8-piece electric, or any combination in between, bandleaders Brian and Aletha Golden have made a name for themselves with their emotional delivery and down-home brand of crowd friendliness and southern hospitality.

Cole Ritter and the Night Owls serve up a seamless blend of rockabilly, Americana, blues and vintage country that propels the listener into an entirely new sound space. Their rhythms rock in all the right ways, while the lyrics remind you of all the things you never knew you’d lost. With a sound this nostalgic, you might swear you've heard them playing on a Sun Records album from the Golden Era.

A true Nashville native, Cole picked up the fiddle at 3 years old, and began touring the southeast scene by age 8. Since then, he’s expanded his repertoire with the incredible voice and out of this world guitar playing that won him a spot on American Idol’s Hollywood Week. He soon went on to win Belmont University's “Country Showcase” in 2020 along with his band the Night Owls. They have new music in the works, set to come out in the new year.

The Road Crew- 10.19.24

The popular Nashville, TN-based rockabilly band, The Road Crew, is an entertaining attraction wherever they perform along Route 66. They have played festivals and car shows in Litchfield IL, Cuba, Springfield & Joplin MO, Galena KS, Afton and Clinton OK and Amarillo TX. This August they will play the International Rt. 66 Festival in Kingman AZ. They have even done a few unplugged, sometimes impromptu, tour of smaller venues that included stops at places like Afton Station in Afton, OK and The Rock Café in Stroud, OK. The group was recently honored with the inaugural “Bobby Troup Artistic Acheivement Award” by the International Route 66 Association in recognition of their album, Songs from the Mother Road.

The Road Crew’s album, Songs from the Mother Road, is really a group of stories about the struggles, the joys, the heartbreaks and the adventures associated with Route 66. The musical styles include folk, country, blues, western swing and even a touch of surfer pop. The 12 original song titles include We’re Going West, Chair Of Rocks Park, The Motherland OK, Tucumcari Tonite, Running Down The Mother Road, The Old Way (For Angel) and That Ol’ 66. In tribute to the late Bobby Troop, The Road Crew even adds their (Beatles inspired) flavor to his classic hit (Get Your Kicks On) Route 66 as a special bonus track.

The group introduced their second CD, Rock-A-Billy Road, an album comprised of mostly upbeat 1950s classic songs that served as a soundtrack for travelers breezing down the highway during the heyday of Route 66. The album includes the theme song for the International Route 66 Association Festival, The Road To Amarillo, composed by Joe and Don.

If you run into them along the road, just know that you are meeting four guys who love the road, love the people and love the places they sing about just as much as you do. You can learn more about The Road Crew on their website, http://roadcrew66.com.

THE DELTAZ- 10.18.24

Shut the screen door on the back porch and throw another log on the fire of the barbecue. Then go inside, pull out your favorite Deltaz album and throw it on the turntable. Heavy blues, roots rock, classic country and the blood harmony of two brothers will pour out of your stereo. Brothers John Siegel and Ted Siegel spend many of their days perfecting new records at a handmade mobile Airstream studio behind their residence just outside of Nashville Tennessee. Before relocating they had become mainstays at a Southern Californian institution, The Old Place, regularly performing for patrons at the ever-packed restaurant in the Santa Monica Mountains where the boys grew up. There, they caught the ear of the late bassist Rick Rosas (Neil Young, Joe Walsh), who became a mentor to the group. They spend their remaining hours rigorously touring, headlining shows across the country, regularly touring in Europe, while attracting the attention of sonic peers such as alt-country act The White Buffalo and Mississippi Blues legend Watermelon Slim, playing with both on several occasions. The Deltaz have had their music placed on CMT and MTV television shows and most recently The Deltaz had their song “Wild Mustang” featured in a film directed by Edward James Olmos, “The Devil Has a Name”, recorded as a duet with vocal rock legend Bonnie Bramlett (Eric Clapton, Leon Russell)

The Deltaz were formed while the brothers were still in high school. The boys had already immersed themselves in roots American music by that point, and this passion led them both to quickly pick up their respective instruments of choice. Ted lays down a bluesy, searing reminiscent slide guitar on his 1950s Harmony Rocket he calls “Huck”, while commanding drummer John has expanded his role behind the drum set to include impressive harmonica work and vocal harmonies that leave audiences overwhelmed at his coordination. The two have clearly learned to work with each other, feeding off of each other’s talents to bring ever-climactic performances to energized and extremely diverse audiences. In 2018 the brothers lost their home and studio in the mountains of Southern California to The Woolsey forest fire and decided to relocate to Nashville in 2020 for a fresh start. With The Deltaz mobile studio in tow the brothers have been crafting their most ambitious album to date, overflowing with all the heavy roots rock goodness their audiences have come to know.

Jake Leg Stompers- 10.12.24

Kenny Durham Trio- 9.21.24

David Isenberg Trio- 9.20.24

Joe & Diane- 9.13.24

The music of Joe and Diane is a refreshing reminder of the quality and richness of true, traditional country music! Joe and Diane have been singing and performing together as Nashville’s newest duet team!

Joe Wade Smith is originally from West Virginia and was raised in Maryland. His music background started when he was a teenager sitting around at family reunions and get-togethers picking and singing with his uncles and cousins. He won several singing competitions through the years in Maryland, with one landing him a spot on The Nashville Network’s “You Can Be A Star”. He moved to Tennessee in the beginning of 2013 and has a large fan base that includes people from all around the world.

Diane Berry was born into a musical family and grew up in a little town in Arkansas. She moved to Nashville in the early ‘80’s playing guitar singing in one of the shows in Opryland Park. That fall, Roy Acuff asked her to be his guest on the Grand Ole’ Opry and after that performance, Diane worked the Grand Ole’ Opry for twenty eight years with different artists such as:  Jeannie Seely, Johnny Russell, Grandpa Jones, Jan Howard, Skeeter Davis, Jim Ed Brown, Charlie Louvin and Johnny Counterfit.  Diane is also an accomplished songwriter. Connie Smith recorded the gospel song “Take My Hand” on her last album that Diane wrote to honor her mother.

Singing together just felt right….so, they started doing shows together as a duet and are seeing wonderful success. They have a new album of songs like,  “Would You Love Me”, “We Never Had It Easy But We Always Had It Good”which got them nominated for Vocal Group of the Year for the 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards and also for Traditional Country Music along with Music Event of the Year for the Josie Awards (an Independent Awards Show). The year of 2022 turned out to be a banner year for Joe and Diane.  With the song, “Yours”, they won “Song of The Year” at the Arkansas Country Music Awards along with winning “Vocal Event of the Year” at the Josie Awards! Ladies and  Gentleman…I present to you….JOE AND DIANE!
