“RischeCraft” is a Nashville-based duo performing folk, bluegrass, country, and blues music. After successful independent careers, McKenna Grace Rische and Ian Cory Craft have combined their talents to bring high-energy eclectic shows to audiences of all different musical tastes often making lifelong fans as they go!
With her renowned country music heritage, Rische brings a sense of nostalgia to every piece of music she touches. Her voice calls the listener in to share each song’s emotion, whether joyful or plaintive. During her time with “Rische Love” with siblings Lillie Mae Rische (Jack White, Robert Plant/Allison Krause, Post Malone) Frank Rische(Jim Lauderdale, East Nashville Grass. Miranda Lambert) This husband and wife duo is a Nashville original, the city and its music scene brought them together. the Nashville Scene Reporter called her stage presence “a fresh ray of sunshine amongst the fleeting Nashville glitter.”
From a foundation built on years of playing bar/club shows and a degree in music theory and performance Craft forged his skill in stringed instruments through thousands of hours of gigs at Lower Broadway’s honkytonks. Well-known for his work with “The Howlin’ Brothers,” “They are authentic and the real deal through and through” “ -Brendan Benson (Raconteurs, producer of White Stripes) “they are content to not concern themselves with the current contemporary music scene, and just create their own” -Warren Haynes(Allman Brothers band, Government Mule) Craft masterfully covers fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar while harmonizing with Rische and singing lead adding his own vocal stylings to the duos sound. Craft and Rische marry their talents together to share songwriting credits.CThe husband-and-wife duo is stepping out together as “Rische Craft” a true Nashville original.
