The Backrow Brothers are a musical duo combining the spirit of Appalachia and the soul of the Western Plains into a tasteful balance of tight harmonies and timeless original lyrics. Drawing their roots from a wide variety of genres such as bluegrass, country, pop, jazz, rock, and gospel, they’re propelling tradition into the next generation while building a new style all their own. Composed of Josh Dean on guitar and Braxton Rogers on banjo, the pair met on the streets of Gatlinburg and began harnessing their passion for the music. They soon found themselves on the ‘backrow’ of industry norms, and decided to carve their own path in the name of doing what they love most: entertaining you, the listener.
